Sidequest: Merkin for my rails.

Okay, so you may not know what I mean by merkin, and you may be beginning to think about what I mean by rails. The rail is the easy part to explain. It just means the window track for the front two doors of my 1972 Scout II. By merkin, I, of course, mean the felt that goes in said window track.

First, I took the old window tracks, then hit them with a little of Rustoleom, the best etching primer I can get at Ace. After I laid down two good coats of primer, I hit it with the midnight blue to designate I touched it.
