I figured I would break from the old post to jump to paint stuff here. Now that that deadener is applied and the spray on bed we will start to attack the exterior.

Reed has started painting on the loose parts like the cowl, front grill, lower valance, rear hatch window, and glove box door.

Got some paint pictures coming in today. It is interesting to see the difference in the green colors in the pictures. Can’t wait to see it in person this week.

My guy called me today to ask about door jambs. I initially thought we would “white” them out. He also told me that since it was a small area – it shouldn’t be an issue top two-tone paint them.

I took some pictures today and discussed the rims. I will buy the tires and mount them on rims before we paint them. I need to make sure that they fit the fenders and rims. I need to discuss this with the tire guys.

If you don’t like gratuitous pictures, skip to the bottom of the page…
Also, Tony was smiling. He busted open the wires, and I am honest. I am scared of how much it will cost.

Update:

my paint guy sent some updated pictures of the hardtop and rollbar painted in the custom white.
